Standard Lip Seal Profiles
A Series - The rubber elastomer outer covering tolerates thermal expansion as well as roughness in the housing bore. There will be no fretting corrosion. Furthermore, damage of the housing bore will be prevented when frequently replacing the seal. This qualifies for sealing gaseous or liquid media.
SC TC VC
SC type is the standard oil seal with single lip, which is used for sealing grease in one direction. The inner lip seals a heavy lubricant, and the other element is free to function normally.

TC type is the general oil sealing applications with double lips which are used for sealing fluid and dirt in two directions. The major-lip seals fluid in, and the vice-lip keeps dirt out.

VC type is the non-spring loaded type with single lip, which is used for grease retention or sealing viscous fluid in one direction by the elasticity of rubber itself.
V type can be combined with other types as request for severe sealing.
